26th November saw the premiere of a new book by Paweł Kossecki - "Valuation of intangible assets for legal purposes" published by Wolters Kluwer. It is a position that was created for attorneys-at-law, legal advisors, tax advisors, managers, students, creators, scientists, and all those who are interested in issues related to intellectual property law and the valuation of intangible assets.

It addresses issues related to, among others:

- methods of valuing intangible assets in companies;
- valuation of author's economic rights carried out depending on the specific nature of the industry (e.g. music or film);
- valuation of technological assets, results of R&D work, Internet domains;
- the conditions of determining the rates of collecting societies.

The book is based on many years of academic and business work. The aim of the publication was to create a comprehensive study of law and practice that not only supports professionals in their daily work, but also helps them understand the complexity of valuing intangible assets.
