Call for Papers for the HICSS Conference
in Hawaii
14th May 2026
For the second time, Paweł Kossecki will actively participate, alongside Yochanan Shachmurove and Mariusz Przybylik, in the HICSS conference in Hawaii. This time, they will chair the “Technology Valuation” mini-track.
This track explores how the value of new technologies is conceptualized, assessed, and realized in various organizational, market, and social contexts. As the digital transformation reshapes industries, technology valuation is becoming increasingly complex and depends not only on technical parameters or financial indicators, but also on behaviors related to technology adoption, generated intellectual property, ecosystem dynamics, and the decision-making processes of both users and technology companies.
The call for research papers within the individual minitracks has already begun. We warmly encourage you to apply and submit your work. The deadline is June 15, 2026,
which is just one month away.
Important information:
- Each paper may be submitted to only one minitrack
- Papers for the HICSS conference must contain original material (they must not have been previously published or currently under consideration elsewhere).
Submissions can be made via the HICSS website at the following link:
According to information published by the Polish Ministry of Science, 140 points are awarded for publication in the conference proceedings.
